The new European support program offers many opportunities to experience Europe and provides funds for your projects and initiatives, e.g. for:
Youth Congresses
Groups (at least 16 participants) of young people between 13 and 25 years can attend meetings with juveniles from one or more participating European countries for six to 21 days.
Youth initiatives and Crosslinking Projects
At least four adolescents at the age of 18 to 30 years and non-profit organisations and associations can accomplish a self-determined and self-initiated project. In this case, no other European country needs to be included, but can. The duration of the project should be from three to eighteen months.
Projects of Participative Democracy
Non-profit organisations or associations or informal groups of young people can develop projects that support young people between 13 and 30 years in actively participating in discussion and decision processes in democratic systems and, thus, inserting their wishes and needs, e.g. at youth forums or regional political consultation and decision-making boards.
The projects are based on the network principle 2 + 2: At least two different partners from one participating country have to work with two partners from another participating country. The duration of the project should be from six to eighteen months.
European Volunteer Service
The volunteer service adresses itself to 18 to 30- year old young people who want to work in a participating country for two to twelve months. A difference is made between an individual volunteer service and a group volunteer service. Likewise, a delegating organisation and an accommodating organisation are needed. Interested people should adress a coordinating organisation such as the Protestant Volunteer Services For Young People.
Principally entitled to apply for this support program are, among others, adolescents who unionise in informal groups, youth organisations, facilities and organisations in the youth sector.
